What is Aerocort Rotacaps?

Aerocort Rotacap contains Levosalbutamol/Beclomethasone as active ingredients.

It works by making breathing easier by reducing the irritation and swelling of the airways, relaxing the muscles in the airways.

Aerocort Rotacap is a member of the group of medication called short-acting beta-2 agonists. This drug is used for the relief of asthma symptoms, but it can also be used to delay delivery in women undergoing premature labor. It is very useful for averting asthma symptoms due to exercise and other situation too.

When is it prescribed?

Aerocort Rotacap is prescribed for the treatment of asthma.

How does it work?

This Rotacap is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol and Beclometasone. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Beclometasone is a steroid drug. It acts by stopping the release of certain natural substances in the body that cause inflammation (swelling) of the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

how to Use Aerocort Rotacaps?

Rotacaps must not be swallowed. Check the label for directions before Utilize.Put the capsule not in the mouthpiece but at the base of rotahaler.

The mouthpiece needs to be entirely twisted until the sound of a click is heard and inhale in deeply through the mouthpiece.

Keep your breath hold for up to 10 seconds. Repeat the process If some powder remains in the rotahaler.

What is the Dosage?

Missed Dose
